What Are Factorize Resets?

Factorize resets are a major reset mechanic introduced in World 8 High Tier Grinding of Luck Incremental. They represent a deeper level of progression reset than standard rebirths — while rebirths reset upgrade levels but preserve most account progress, Factorize resets selectively preserve certain persistent bonuses while resetting others in exchange for powerful new multiplicative layers.

Factorize is designed as an endgame acceleration mechanic. Each Factorize reset makes subsequent Worlds 8–10 progression faster by granting new persistent multiplier categories that stack with talent nodes, relics, global runes, and hidden runes. Players who avoid Factorize resets struggle significantly in World 9 and World 10 content.

Understanding what persists and what resets during Factorize is the key to beating this mechanic efficiently.

Pre-Factorize Preparation

Before your first Factorize reset, secure every persistent bonus available. Max all S-tier talent tree nodes from talent tree tier list — talent nodes persist through Factorize. Pull all S-tier relics from the World 3 banner — relics persist through Factorize.

Collect global runes from Worlds 7–8 — global runes are among the most valuable persistent items for Factorize because they apply account-wide bonuses that survive the reset. See global runes guide for farming targets.

Farm key hidden runes from Worlds 6–7 that boost Hidden Rune odds and Rebirth gains. Hidden runes persist in your inventory through Factorize. Reach comfortable stat levels in World 8 so you can rebuild quickly after the reset.

Executing the Factorize Reset

The Factorize reset option appears in World 8 once you meet the stat and hidden rune requirements displayed on the world selector. Review what will persist and what will reset before confirming — the game typically shows a summary of retained and lost bonuses.

Persistent through Factorize: talent tree nodes, relics, collected runes (normal, hidden, global), world unlocks, Daily Tokens, Gems, and Factorize multiplier gains themselves. Reset by Factorize: upgrade levels, some stat progress, and non-persistent rune bonuses depending on the specific Factorize tier.

After confirming, your upgrade levels reset similar to a rebirth but with the added Factorize multiplier layer. Rebuild upgrade levels using your retained bonuses — the rebuild should be significantly faster than your first time through World 8 content.

Post-Factorize Strategy

Immediately after Factorize, re-purchase upgrades following endgame build priorities. Your retained talent nodes, relics, and runes make rebuild cycles much faster than pre-Factorize progression.

Push World 8 stat gates again with your new Factorize multiplier active. Then proceed to World 9 Deconstructed Ideals — the Factorize bonus makes World 9 stat requirements significantly more achievable.

Consider a second Factorize reset after collecting additional global runes and hidden runes in the post-reset world push. Each Factorize cycle adds another multiplier layer, though diminishing returns apply — one to two Factorize resets are sufficient for most World 10 completion paths.

Common Factorize Mistakes

Factorizing too early: resetting before maxing talent nodes and collecting global runes wastes the reset's potential. Complete the pre-Factorize checklist before confirming.

Avoiding Factorize entirely: some players fear the reset and skip Factorize, then struggle in World 9–10 where the Factorize multiplier is effectively required. Factorize is an acceleration tool, not a punishment.

Not rebirthing between Factorize attempts: maintain rebirth multiplier growth between Factorize resets. Stagnating rebirth progress while preparing for a second Factorize wastes time.
